VCI film for outdoor storage VALENO CAMPO

With the VCI shrink film VALENO CAMPO, we have the solution for the temporary outdoor storage of your corrosion-sensitive goods. The VCI film VALENO CAMPO developed by EXCOR is a co-extrusion film. It consists of an inner layer with EXCOR VCI corrosion protection, a centre as a highly effective barrier layer against penetrating water vapour, and an outer layer with UV stabilisation. This makes the VCI barrier film ideally suited for the transport or storage of goods that are at risk of corrosion, even in the open air.

The effect triggered by a combination of corrosion protection and barrier layer can be further enhanced by using two films. This is recommended for exposure to strong sunlight and longer storage periods. First, tightly sealed packaging using a standard EXCOR VCI film is carried out. The goods wrapped with VCI film are then wrapped with the shrinkable barrier film CAMPO. The barrier shrink film CAMPO does not need to be equipped with VCI in this case, because the corrosion protection is already in the inner packaging. Another advantage of this packaging method is the insulating layer of air between the two films.
